  • A twenty-four seat computer lab with internet ready computers and iPads
  • Science lab
  • A library that is filled with thousands of books that are geared to the enjoyment of the students at GCS. There are books ClassroomEmptyBin the library that are for pleasure as well as informative books for research. There are also computers that are used for research, to write papers and also take quizzes on “Reading Adventure”. Our library is a fun place to learn about different people who have made a difference in our world and to use our imagination through reading a good book.  Library classes are held once a week for the K-5th graders.  Every nine weeks, the 4th and 5th graders will work on writing a book report.  This is a great opportunity to prepare them for the Junior High.ClassroomScience2B2

A full science program – Great Commission Schools offers a full selection of basic high school science classes.  God has blessed us with a lab equipped with gas, electric and water stations.  We offer biology, chemistry and physics, all with teachers trained in their subject matter and teaching from a Christian World View.  Upper level courses include Anatomy and Physiology and Honors Chemistry Lab. We have graduates succeeding in science and pre-med programs at the university level.  Our classes are hands on and exciting!  Field trips include places like the local Duke Energy Wind Farm, the Penn State Nuclear Reactor and the Altoona Hospital Radiology Department, and the Corning Glass Works in NY.  Several of our students watched one of the last shuttle launches on site at Cape Canaveral.  We truly believe we have one of the best Christian high school science programs in the area.  Come and see!

  • A well stocked art room – GSC provides a designated room for Art.  The art room offers a variety of tools to help the imagination grow and to explore drawing, painting, and sculpting.
