We chose Great Commission Schools because of the importance of a Christ-centered education that reinforces Christian principles from both church and home. The curriculum is safe for all students and carefully selected to show God in every subject matter.

​We believe that there is a battle in the world for our children’s hearts and souls, and it is very easy to get drawn into unhealthy spaces (such as social media) where despair and doubt constantly threaten their innocence and happiness. We want our child to be equipped and reinforced with the Armor of God at home and church, and at school. In a world that has progressively attempted to erode Christian values and morals, we want him to be able to stand up and proclaim the message of God with strength and confidence.

​What a blessing it is to know that:

• Our child is being prayed for and can pray out loud at school.
• He is surrounded by friends and fellow Christians.
• He has teachers who care about and love him.
• He’s getting a quality education to prepare him for life’s challenges.
• With smaller class sizes, he is offered more 1:1 time.
• He is in a safe learning environment.

We have been truly blessed by GCS these past five years.

Where to send our son to school was a very important decision for us, and one we did not take lightly. We believed that his character was the most important part of him that we could ever influence, and for that reason, we wanted him in a school that promoted Christian ethics, values, and morals, among other students and families who feel likewise.

We wanted his academic life to be guided by a Christian worldview, particularly in the view of the folly of the secular world which permeates much of the public school system.

Our decision to send him to Great Commission Schools has been validated many times over as the correct one.

Early on, we assumed we would send our kids to public school. “We need our kids to be missionaries for Jesus in the public schools,” we used to think.

After more careful consideration, we realized that for our children to be missionaries for Jesus, they first needed proper training and a firm foundation. Since that foundation needs to be Christ, a Christ-centered education seemed like the obvious choice for their learning environment.

Simultaneously, we recognized a pattern from so many Great Commission students and alumni: God was so naturally interconnected in every aspect of their lives. He was not in some compartmentalized part of their brains, reserved for church buildings and Bible studies, but rather was acknowledged in all aspects of life.

And we are so glad that we chose Great Commission. Not only do the teachers and staff so diligently teach our boys about the world around them, but also about the One who created it all. They walk alongside us, the parents, in laying the foundation that is Christ.

Great Commission Schools has been a blessing to our family in more ways than one! Not only has it been a wonderful place for us to contribute to the education of young minds in the classroom, but it has also provided a Christ-centered atmosphere for our children to learn and grow.

Living amidst an intensifying world of adversity, we are grateful to be a part of a school that teaches and guides children using Christian values according to the Bible. It is heart-warming to know that our children’s school days include:

• weekly worshiping and hearing God’s Word in the Chapel
• classroom lessons connected to Biblical truths
• peer relationships nurtured with grace

We are confident that they will learn to love others like Jesus, defend their faith with the truth of God’s Word, and know who they are in Christ because of their education at GCS.
